Fauntleroy Park is a 28-acre wooded ravine in West Seattle, defined by S.W. Barton Street on the north and 97th Avenue S.W. on the south. With six entrances and a network of trails, the park is one of the city’s best-preserved reminders of the way Puget Sound lowland forests once were. Most trails are in a natural state, although some have been supplemented with gravel or boardwalks. to serve them.
People are encouraged to enjoy their visit and observe the following posted rules:
- No bike riding within the park
- No drugs or alcohol within the park
- No camping or campfires within the park
- No cutting or removing of any plant materials in the park
- Please observe current leash and scoop laws for your pet.
- The park has no public restrooms, parking areas, or recreational facilities.
- It is closed to the public from sunset to 6 a.m.
