There is a rich system in Fauntleroy Park that supports flocks of birds, schools of fish, scurries of mammals, and colonies of insects!  

The towering trees and knee-height shrubs of this forest provide food and shelter year-round for many animals. They can harbor hundreds of lichens, moss, and fungi along one trunk for thousands of years!
