The uplands, wetlands, riparian corridor, and cove that make up the creek system offer a rich resource for students to explore, study, and develop stewardship principles in a natural environment, right in the city. We welcome inquiries from any teacher or youth leader about this classroom.
Our education volunteers will work with you to create a field trip that meets your objectives, identify a research project, or create a service-learning activity. Please contact us at least five weeks prior to your preferred date so that we can arrange volunteer support.
If you choose to lead your own field trip, please let us know. We record how many students use this classroom every year, plus we can tell you if another group is scheduled for the same time and location.
